The Mission
Hunt the Coin-Creep Monsters
With his helper Cent by his side, FinPintar journeys through Sarawak collecting coins and defeating the Coin-Creep Monsters — all the way to the final Boss, the biggest Price Problem of all.

In the marvellous Coin City of the year 3000, all the fun things — shiny toys, yummy snacks — keep getting more and more expensive. Everyone calls it "The Big Price Problem."

A toy that cost 1 coin last week might cost 5 coins today. If prices climb too high, every fun shop shuts down for good — and the adventure is over. To fix it, the world's smartest scientists build a hero: FinPintar, a super-strong robot programmed with every secret of saving and earning money.

Using a zappy time machine, FinPintar is sent back to the year 2500 — to Sarawak, where The Big Price Problem first began — to hunt the sneaky Coin-Creep Monsters making prices jump.

Every monster defeated and every coin collected fixes a little of the problem and pushes prices back down. His tiny robot helper Cent follows along with money tips the whole way.

FinPintar is a jump-and-grab platformer where the right money answer is your weapon. Here's what a run looks like.

Coin-Creep Monsters block the path with kid-friendly financial-literacy questions. Pick the smart-money answer to win.

Sort items into Needs vs Wants, and pay the exact amount in the Bank Note Puzzle to master everyday money skills.

Collect coins as you run. A stage clears only when you hit its coin goal and answer every question in it.

FinPintar is developed by Curtin University Malaysia in collaboration with Rainty Square IT Solutions, Miri, bringing together academic expertise and game development to create a new way of learning finance.
